Demonstrations

A demonstration is a synergy of many unexpected factors. Nothing or everything might happen. Medical support and aid is always important!

The sooner we know about a demonstration, the better can we organize and prepare ourselves. For us some things are of importance: how big the demo is expected to be, the riot cop factor, other first aid organisations involved, and of course the weather.
Send us a mail at least three weeks beforehand,, especially for big demonstrations, so that there is enough time to get ready and prepared.

Actions

Actions are planned and organized without involvement of the outside world. Mostly only the most basic and important things are taken into consideration for the preparation. First Aid is mostly forgotten, though most things happen because of the unpredictable nature of many actions. We are handling all information discretely. Don't hesitate to contact us.

Small local actions

Some cities do have experience with providing small-sized first aid. The advantage of this is that more difficult actions can be supported locally (think about evictions). Check out your city to get in touch with the next available Streetmedic collective.

Don't forget that the later you contact us, the less likely it is that we can be availalbe!

Volunteers

We are always looking for more volunteers. To help at demonstrations/actions we need people who are experienced in first aid. This is important to guarantee a certain quality of first aid. A good basis would for example be a First Aid (EHBO) diplome. We are also looking for people who want to help us with organizational matters.
